Vice President, Energy & Electrical Division

Mark Jensen

let's connect

As Vice President of the Energy & Electrical Division at American Wholesale Lighting, Mark Jensen oversees internal operations and field execution, leading the delivery of national energy and electrical programs with a focus on safety, quality, and measurable results.

Mark’s career began in sales before he transitioned into operations, where he managed commercial retrofit projects and learned firsthand what it takes to deliver efficiently in the field. Over the years, he has worked closely with customers, utilities, manufacturers, and contractors, building a unique perspective on both the technical and financial sides of complex projects. That foundation prepared him to lead AWL’s Energy & Electrical Division as it expanded from regional projects to nationwide programs covering thousands of sites across the U.S., Guam, Puerto Rico, and Canada.

Under Mark’s leadership, AWL has grown its capabilities to include everything from rebate programs and energy audits to design, installation, and electrical execution. One of his proudest achievements has been developing a strong internal team and a trusted subcontractor network that allow AWL to scale quickly while maintaining high standards of quality and service.

Mark was drawn to energy efficiency early in his career because of its immediate impact. The right upgrade reduces costs, improves sustainability, and transforms the look and feel of a space. That combination of financial and environmental value continues to inspire his work today. “We are not just a product vendor or an installer,” he explains. “We handle everything from audits and design to rebate paperwork and electrical work. That gives our customers one point of contact and a smoother, more valuable experience from start to finish.”
